Electronics & Tele-Communication

The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering produces the art of telecommunication systems with electronic mechanisms, also capable of processing information with great dealing for industries such as entertainment, IT, communication and defense . As communication technology developments increasingly improve our daily lives.

This branch includes electronic devices, circuits, communication equipments like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC) along with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories .

Department conducts various co-curricular activities like Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops and Industrial Visits for students to update their technical knowledge. Department helps students to develop the soft skills and technical skills through Extra Curricular Activities.

To empower electronics and telecommunication engineers through technical education and emerging trends for better employability to deal with industrial, social challenges.

1) To develop students with multidisciplinary approach for career enhancement.

2) To provide quality education by meaningful interaction for real world experiences of industries.

3) Encourage students to excel in their career for facing challenges in society.

PEO-1:
To develop soft skill, teamwork, professional ethics and multidisciplinary approach  for career enhancement.

PEO-2:

To solve engineering problems having social relevance by applying knowledge and skill sets related to E&TC engineering.

PEO-3:

To prepare graduates for higher studies and research.

PO1 – Basic and Discipline specific knowledge:
Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.

PO2 – Problem Analysis:

Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.

PO3 – Design/ development of solutions:

Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)

PSO1 :

To demonstrate and apply in depth understanding of signal processing, communication, VLSI & IOT technology.

PSO2 :

To design, simulate and analyze electronic system  as per the needs and specifications  using   modern engineering equipment, tools and software.

PSO3:
